Experience Points & Levels

Experience Points (XP) are a core part of the SpellMe journey, designed to track practice and consistency. As learners practice, they earn XP to reach new levels and monitor their daily and weekly progress. This feature is only available for registered users on the free Basic account, and the paid Advanced and Premium accounts.

🏆 The My Wins Dashboard

The My Wins panel in the user profile gives a quick overview of current progress and activity.

• Total XP: The all-time accumulated experience points.
• XP Today (🔥): The points earned during the current day. This resets daily.
• XP This Week (📅): The points earned over the current week. This resets weekly.
• Level (🚀): The current rank based on Total XP.

⭐ Earning XP

XP is earned automatically through various practice activities within the app. However, the points differ depending on practice modes (Regular, Mastery and Story modes), and the Daily Challenge. Points are awarded as follows:

• Correct spelling in practice modes: 10 XP
• Incorrect spelling in practice modes: 1 XP
• Completing a practice mode word list: 25 XP
• Completing a word list with 100% accuracy: 100 XP
• Correct Daily Challenge spelling: 20 XP
• Incorrect Daily Challenge spelling: 2 XP
• Completing a Daily Challenge: 100 XP
• Welcome Bonus: 100 XP

📈 Level Boundaries

As Total XP increases, the learner's overall level increases. The current thresholds for the first ten levels are:

• Level 1: 0 XP
• Level 2: 500 XP
• Level 3: 1,500 XP
• Level 4: 3,000 XP
• Level 5: 5,000 XP
• Level 6: 7,500 XP
• Level 7: 10,500 XP
• Level 8: 14,000 XP
• Level 9: 18,000 XP
• Level 10: 22,500 XP
